Hello and welcome to my website.
I’m an amateur photographer and birdwatcher, living  at the southern end of North Yorkshire.
I’ve been fascinated by birds and wildlife for as long as I can remember — it’s something that’s stayed with me my whole life.
I know plenty of people love sharing their time outdoors with friends, but I'm more than happy watching and photographing birds on my own. There’s something really special about that quiet time, just me and the birds, and the peace and calm that comes with it.
I don’t post much on social media, and I don’t worry too much about how many species I’ve added to my list either.
I dont go chasing after rare birds, and I’m more than happy just to see and capture whatever turns up in front of me.
Being out among birds has helped me through some really tough times. It’s kept me positive, grounded, and looking forward to what comes next. The healing power of nature is not to be underestimated.
Most of all, I take these photos just for my own enjoyment. But if anyone else gets as much pleasure from looking at them as I do from taking them, then that makes it all the more worthwhile.
